These two girls are shown together, as they were like Lucy and Ethel. Always together, they were like little bookends. If something was going on, they were either involved or creating it. Sadly, Wacky's vision loss created rage like symptoms and she began lashing out even to Nookie. As Nookie's vision began to create problems for her, we kept them together and they were never allowed access to our other dogs together. The aggression is not uncommon, however is found in differing degrees. If you own a dog with PRA, please realize that each dog deals with their vision loss in it's own individual way. Not all will become aggressive and some can and will do just fine. It is the responsibility of the owner to recognize and understand how frustrating this can be. Know your dogs, and keep watch over them.
